Connecting with God, Ourselves and Others ...

(Parts I and II)

The purpose of this retreat is to reaffirm our NEED TO CONNECT with God.  To have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ is a wonderful thing.  We know that when we come to faith we experience great joy.  The purpose of this retreat is to encourage and emphasize how to establish and maintain that vibrant relationship. We support the notion that having a deep, personal walk with God maintains that joy and enthusiasm.  A secondary theme is learning to “love you neighbor as you love yourself.”  We have seen that when we increasingly understand these concepts our relationships improve and God is glorified more fully.

Connecting with God – Part II – (Continuing our Journey):  The purpose of this retreat is to teach the audience HOW TO CONNECT with God more fully and consistently.  We believe there is a direct correlation between the depth of our relationship with God and our ability to live the Christian life being “more than conquerors.” We examine some spiritual practices/disciplines which enable a believer in Jesus Christ to grow in their maturity while maintaining the foundational practices such as: having a daily quiet time, prayer, and bible study.

Note:  these are two separate retreats.
