Ways to Stick to Your Workout

Ways to Stick to Your Workout ...

1. Sign up for a distant race ...

2. Get a friend to sign up for the race with you.

3. Challenge a friend to start working out as well

4. Ask a friend to meet you at the gym

5. Think about the idea that at any given time you are getting "fatter" or "thinner" and your personal choices make a difference.

6. Go and look at a 10lb bag of rice or flour and remind yourself that you are carrying that around on your person.

7. Burn a personal "workout CD"

8. Schedule your workout times.

9. Do the exercises that you "hate" first, then have fun doing the rest of the exercises.

10. Reward yourself with a new outfit when you lose a certain amount of weight.

11. Try to start a workout "streak."  (example: I've worked out 3-5 times a week for the last three weeks.)

12. Value even the smallest changes (because a lot of little changes will add up to some big changes)
