v. 11 — For there is no partiality with God.

Satan loves it when we fall into the trap of “comparison.”  Satan wants you to always feel less than.  He wants you to feel as though you are no longer credible in advancing the Kingdom of God.

The truth is God knows you; your strengths in Him and your weaknesses in your flesh.  God is always for you and not against you.  He knows that Satan has a target on your back and that Satan is like a roaring lion who is walking about and roaring in order to strike a cord of fear in your heart of hearts.  But your spirit “man/woman” is born again.  Your spirit knows that no matter what the ground is even at the cross and you are no better nor are you worse than the people standing next to you at the foot of the cross.

When you hear of someone’s unbelievable conversion experience, Satan wants you to feel “stupid.”  He wants you to think that you are “less than” in the Kingdom of God.  But that can never be true according to this verse.  There is no partiality with God.  God is not going to give all these cool spiritual gifts to other people and leave you out of the loop.  You have been given many gifts as well.

There is no partiality with God.
