Founded in 1992 by Murphy Toerner, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, we have evolved into a center for Christian Counseling. Every counselor on staff is a strong, committed Christian.
Our primary goal is "Equipping People for Successful Living" by integrating solid Biblical values with psychological theories and techniques.
We offer the following services:
Counseling for individuals, couples, and children. Our experience covers a broad array of needs including:
- depression and other mood disorders
- anxiety (which covers several categories)
- communication skills
- relationship issues and skills training
- marriage and family counseling (include but not limited to...conflict resolution, family dynamics, marital problems, and couples in crisis)
- trauma counseling (from natural disasters or childhood abuse)
- helping couples with "collaborative" divorce (after all else has failed in trying to save the marriage
Retreats/Workshops
We provide half-day, full-day, overnight, or weekend retreats and workshops.
