Murphy's Speaking Schedule - Fall, 2008

Friday, August 22, 2008 -- The Christian "View" sponsored by The Chapel at the Oaks; Baton Rouge, La.  This is a panel made up of four counselors from Murphy Toerner and Associates: Suzette Bowen, Onnie B. Perdue, Anne S. Hays, and Murphy Toerner.  This is going to kick off the women's ministry for The Chapel.  It is open to the public.  The contact person is Sherry Fox, Women's Minister at the Chapel.   

Saturday, August 23, 2008 -- Jefferson Baptist Church is presenting a women's conference.  The key-note speaker is Diane Deaton.  The focus is on how women can stay connected to God during the various seasons of their lives. 

September 26, 27,28, 2008 -- Women's Retreat; Stuart Presbyterian Church, Stuart, VA.    The topic is "Greater Intimacy With God."

 A Word About Retreats

The purpose of a “retreat” is to pull away from the battles and issues we contend with in life so that we may reconnect with God and the Body of Christ. 

This time of reconnecting, restoring, rejuvenating, and refocusing is accomplished by using various means.  The length of the retreat may vary.  We have used half-day, whole-day, one night or two night retreat formats. We have also used a "series" format when it is beneficial.

We would love to dialogue with you so we may more fully understand what your unique group/church needs are and how we might be used by the Lord to serve you and encourage you.

Speaking Fees

The fee for a one-night retreat is $1,000.   The fee for a two-night retreat is $1,300.   A one session event is $250.00.
